I’m excited to blog today about the gorgeous wedding celebration in July of Carly & Tom. When I received the photo highlights from photographer Paul White, I cried. He managed to capture every inch of the love, happiness, excitement, beauty, glamour and fun times which this wedding had in spades. Today I’m sharing with you the bridal preparations and the classic Church of England marriage ceremony held at St Marys & All Saints Church in the stunning Old Town of Beaconsfield, Buckinghamshire.
How we helped.
This was a perfect wedding for me – Carly and her mum got in touch with me at the start of 2016, having chosen the venue of Stoke Park Club and church ceremony but being stuck (and rather anxious and frustrated at that point) but recognising they needed a professional by their sides to work with them in pulling all the details together from there on in. We handled the research, supplier selection, admin and overall timetable and logistics, including being there on the day. So full planning, minus the venue search.
I’ll let the photos do the talking…

1. Ensure you book plenty of transport – it can be tempting to rely on doubling up on transport (so having one car return for bride/father having dropped bridesmaids off) but I would advise avoiding this. With the best planning in the world, traffic problems can occur and it’s so much calmer and less stressful if cars only have to do one journey and lovely that bridesmaids and bride can leave at the very same time. Carly and her dad and her bridesmaids travelled in a pair of matching Rolls Royce Silver Clouds.
2. The more you put in, the more you get out – Carly and Tom put lots of effort into choosing music, readings and writing their own vows as part of their marriage ceremony; it really did make all the difference to guests thoroughly enjoying this incredibly special moment.
3. Make sure your confetti shot is carefully planned with a pretty backdrop and ensure guests are all lined up appropriately and given a countdown – it’s worth it for the resulting photos! My team did this beautifully at the church for Carly & Tom.
If you’re feeling stuck in moving forward with your plans, don’t despair. It’s quite a common problem to have your key venues selected but feel overwhelmed or just short of time, to put the rest of the plans into place. Do get in touch to chat about how we can help.
“Just wanted to say a big thank you for all your help. We couldn’t have done it without you, we had the most beautiful day everything/everyone was spot on that you recommended. Carly and Tom had the perfect wedding day that they had dreamed of. Everyone enjoyed themselves so much”
Thank you again
Dawn, Mum of the Bride”
Next time, I’ll be showing what we did at the reception and wedding party.
