Today it’s time to continue the story of our brilliant couple, Carly & Tom, and their wedding reception and party in July.
Last time I shared the story of the beautiful bride as she got ready with her team of maids and very special daughter & flower girl. Now it’s time to pop open the prosecco and celebrate. Carly and Tom’s guests sure did have a great time …
As before I’ll let the photos do the talking…
Read along for my Top Wedding Reception Planning Tips:
1. Time together – make sure you factor in at least 15-20 minutes before sitting down to the wedding breakfast to have time just the two of you with your photographer – it’s really key to get those couple shots of you in great light and looking fantastic and before you get so busy with your guests.
2. Do less but do it well – Carly was very clear from the start that she wanted things to be elegant, excellent quality and with a classic all-white palette. We focused on voluminous fragrant florals and a stunning cake design and didn’t feel the need to add too many other accessories and details to dining tables.
3. Party hard – the evening party was really key to this couple so we ensured that we had budget left to dress the Ballroom and transform it from classic charm to warm, fun and ready for a dance floor invasion!
What the bride said:
“Kelly was amazing from start to finish, she took all the stress away from us and made our day perfect.”
