Spring
has sprung and we're ready to go; it's only when the season is
underway, that I realise how much the volume of weddings is missed
over the quieter winter. I'm never happier than when the kit is
being packed, the phones are ringing and we're working to deadline!
Read on for what we've been up to. |

Winter
has been all about planning, both for weddings and for
the business! We've been very hectic doing plenty of
business networking, trying out new groups and catching
up with old colleagues and friends who we haven't had a
chance to visit for a while such as The
Best of Wimbledon and The
Womens Company.
And
we've been working on developing our venue and supplier
knowledge even further, attending a lot of venue
launches and events from the stunning Wallace
Collection to the stylish and alternative Baglioni
in London and further afield taking the time to visit
the very grand Bradley
House and legendary Babington
House in Wiltshire and Somerset
respectively.
And
of course we've been getting our teeth into the summer's
weddings which are diverse as ever from classic elegance
in a tudor manor house to wedding and christening combo
with cute afternoon tea party via quirky vintage
sensation in the Berkshire countryside to name but a
few.

| UK Alliance of Wedding Planners |
|
The
UK Alliance of Wedding Planners has been very hectic
this spring. Our first Wedding Planning Excellence
Seminar at the end of February was a huge hit (despite
the general economic gloom) and all of our planner
delegates raved about the seminar content which was very
much focused on driving our individual planning
businesses forward with expert speakers in PR, business
coaching and blogging to name but a few.
And
talking of blogging, UKAWP has a blog so if you'd like
to have a read on topics close to wedding planners'
hearts then click
here and subscribe.

babies highchairs a close second! Other products include
votive candles, silver hanging lanterns, cooler boxes
